Dr. Taylor Rawson was born in Utah and was raised in California where graduated high school in Mission Viejo.  He then served as a full-time missionary in Buenos Aires, Argentina for two years and then graduated college from Brigham Young University in Provo.  From there he moved to Arizona where he taught Biology and Human Anatomy at Chandler High School.

While teaching high school, Dr. Rawson earned a Master’s Degree from Arizona State University and graduated from the USC School of Dentistry in Los Angeles, CA.  Dr. Rawson worked as a general dentist with Adelante Healthcare for three years where he had the opportunity to serve an incredible population.  His talent and passion for working with kids led him to further his training in pediatrics, taking his family to Alaska, where he completed an Advanced Education Residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the NYU Hospital Centers program in Anchorage.

Dr. Rawson lived with his family and served the pediatric population of Yuma, Arizona since completing his residency, and is excited to be a part of Powell Pediatric Dentistry here in Visalia.

In addition to serving our patients, he loves spending time with his family indoors and out, and enjoys cooking and eating delicious food. His passion for teaching continues, and he serves as adjunct faculty at the USC School of Dentistry and also the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. Dr. Rawson, his wife, Sara, and their four children are excited to become a part of the community.
